David Marshall has more than 40 years of experience in benefit consulting, tax, asset management and structured products. He is Principal and Co-Founder of Atlas Financial Partners, which administers hedges for more than $6 billion in market-based tax-deferred plan obligations for large corporations in multiple industries.

 

Prior to founding Atlas, Mr. Marshall was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he designed and implemented the firm’s nonqualified deferred compensation program and created and led the Investment Management Division’s Structured Products and Financial Institutions Groups.

 

Previously, he also founded and managed the nonqualified tax deferred compensation practices at Price Waterhouse and Smith Barney.

 

Mr. Marshall graduated with a BA in Economics and History from Wabash College and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
