Robert Polansky recently retired as Assistant Treasurer, Treasury Operations at General Mills in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after 36 years with the company.

 

His areas of responsibility included North American cash management and managing all Treasury trading operations including short-term and long-term debt, short-term investments, share repurchase, interest rate, foreign exchange and deferred compensation plan risk management.

 

He led implementation of SAP’s Treasury module as well as several projects to expand SAP Treasury’s breadth of functionality and geographic reach.  Mr. Polansky also worked on a wide variety of Treasury projects including working capital, risk management, M&A and capital allocation.

He earned AB and MBA degrees from The University of Chicago.
